Laura Alberts Tasteful Options

Established in 2002 by mother/daughter team Laura Leppert and Karen Elsey, Laura Alberts is a café and purveyor of craft beerfine wine and gifts.  The name ‘Laura Alberts’ comes from combining Karen’s mother’s name, Laura and her father’s name, Albert.  Laura is a Charleston native well-known for her crab dip, aged white cheddar pimento cheese, chocolate bourbon pecan pie & coconut creme pie, all of which is served regularly at the restaurant.  Albert was a North Charleston policeman quite fond of Laura’s cuisine.
